In the web app, you can set preferences for app features. Click Settings, then Preferences:
- Allow Inspection Point Edit: This allows users to create Inspection Points in the mobile app. In the app, users can tap the More menu, then tap Inspection Points. If this setting is not enabled, Inspection Points will be hidden in the More menu.
- Allow Location Edit: This allows users to create Locations in the mobile app. In the app, users can tap the More menu, then tap Locations. If this setting is not enabled, Locations will be hidden in the More menu.
- Allow Observations: This enables Observations for the Organization. If this is enabled, each user must be granted permission to record Observations. See Security Roles for more information.
- Allow GPS Capture: This allows the app to capture the GPS location of inspectors. If this is enabled, GPS must be enabled on Inspection Categories as well.
- Allow Photo Capture: This enables photos to be taken on inspections.
- Require Comment When Corrected On Site: If an Inspection Point could have failed, but the inspector was able to resolve the failure at the time of the inspection, "Corrected On Site" allows the inspector to resolve the failure without generating a CAPA. This setting requires the inspector to add a comment.
- Force Scan on Mobile App: This requires users to scan the Location ID or Inspection Point barcode before completing an inspection. If this is enabled, Force Scan must be enabled on Inspection Categories as well.
- Auto Sync: This forces users' devices to upload information to the web app, once the device is connected to internet. This also forces devices to download information from the web app when users log in.
- Sync on Cellular: If there is no Wi-Fi connection, this allows users' devices to sync using a cellular data connection.
- Show Upload Confirmation: This asks the user to confirm that they would like to submit their inspection.
- Show Result On Upload Confirmation: This shows the user if the inspection is a Pass or Fail before submitting.
- Show Barcode on Inspection Point Overview Screen: This displays the Barcode value of the Inspection Point.
- Save Completed Inspection Report: This saves a PDF of each inspection to the dashboard in the web app. If this is not enabled, PDFs can still be generated using other methods.
- Primary Contact: The primary contact for the Organization.
- Company Logo: The logo for the Organization.
