There are three ways to add Inspection Points:
- Add an Inspection Point manually in the web app.
- Add an Inspection Point manually in the mobile app.
- Import a list of Inspection Points.

Step by Step Instructions
- Click Inspections.
- Click Inspection Points.
- Click an Inspection Category. (e.g. Fire Extinguisher)
- Click New Inspection Point.
Now, you can enter the General settings:
- Enter a unique Point ID. If the Inspection Point already has a serial number or asset ID, then it is best to use it. Otherwise, either use the same value as in the Barcode, or just use a sequential number similar to the Location ID.
- Optional: Enter a Barcode. This is the value that can be entered/scanned in the mobile app to find this Inspection Point.
- Select a Type.
- Select a Status.
- Optional: Select an Owner. The Owner can be notified of any Corrective Actions related to this Inspection Point.
- Optional: Enter a Comment.
Now, you can enter the Location settings:
- Click Location.
- Select your Organization.
- Select a Facility.
- Select a Level 1 Location. (e.g. Building)
- Select a Level 2 Location. (e.g. Floor)
- Select a Location. (e.g. Room)
Now, you can enter the Properties settings:
- Click Properties.
- Optional: Enter any applicable Properties. (e.g. Serial Number)
Now, you can enter the Dates settings:
- Click Dates.
- Optional: Enter any applicable Date Properties. (e.g. Date Purchased)
Now, you can enter the Inspections settings:
- Click Inspections.
- Optional: When this Inspection Point is inspected, the default Form will be used. If this particular Inspection Point is slightly different from the others, you can select a different Form.
Now, you can enter the Image settings:
- Click Image.
- Optional: Add an image of this equipment. You may want to show what it looks like in good condition.
- Click Save.
To edit an Inspection Point, click the pencil icon.
To copy an Inspection Point, click the pieces of white paper.
To remove an Inspection Point, click the red X. Please note: An Inspection Point cannot be removed if inspections have been performed on it.
