Periodically, you may need to update the Barcode, Location, or Status on your Inspection Points. This can be done in the web app as well as the mobile app.

To update these fields in the web appstart by logging in:

  1. Click Inspections.
  2. Click Inspection Points.
  3. Select a Category.
  4. Use the pencil icon to edit an Inspection Point.




In the General tab, you can update the Barcode and Status:

  1. Type in the new Barcode value.
  2. Select a Status from the drop-down menu.





Next, you can update the Location:

  1. Click Location.
  2. Complete all 5 Location fields. Please note: If the Location you need does not already exist, you must create the Location first.
  3. Click Save.





To update these fields in the mobile app,  tap the slide-out menu.

Tap Inspection Points.

Now, find the Inspection Point and update it:

  1. Enter or scan the Point ID, then press Enter on your keyboard
  2. Update the Barcode by typing in the value, or scanning the new QR/barcode
  3. Select a Status from the drop-down menu.

Next, update the Location.

  1. Tap Location.
  2. Complete all Location fields. Please note: When you tap on field, such as Level 1 or Level 2 Location, you can add a new menu option in the top-right corner if needed.
  3. Tap Done.
