In the mobile app menu, there are tabs to Sync the app, adjust its Settings, and see information About the IMEC app.

Syncing the mobile app is necessary to upload inspections to the web app, and to download account settings from the web app. Logging out of the app and back in will also force a sync.

There are two settings available:

  1. If Force Scan is enabled, the mobile user will see a prompt stating "Point ID must be scanned". The user must tap 'Scan' before the camera launches. If Auto Launch Scanner is enabled, the user will not see the prompt, and the camera launches automatically.
  2. When the mobile user taps the plus sign to start an inspection, the user must tap the Point ID box to begin typing the Point ID. When Auto Focus Input is enabled, the app will automatically focus on the Point ID box and open the user's keyboard.

The About tab gives information about the IMEC app.
