Observations are separate from inspections, and can be comments, images, and/or corrections for nearly anything. See an inspection point that needs to be corrected? Rather than waiting for the next inspection, where it is weekly, monthly, annually - users log an observation. The observation can create a CAPA and notify the right user(s).

Step by Step Instructions


To record an observation, start by logging into the mobile app. Tap the plus icon.

Tap Record Observation.

Tap Add.





  1. Enter an Observation Group Reference. This is usually the date of the observation, but can include other details.
  2. Optional: Select an Inspection Category.
  3. Optional: Select or scan a Location.
  4. Optional: Enter or scan an Inspection Point.
  5. Enter Details of the Observation.
  6. Optional: Toggle Create Corrective Action, and select a Corrective Action Category.




You can also attach Media to this Observation:

  1. Tap Media and take a photo.
  2. Tap Done.




When you are done adding observations, tap Submit All.
